Peking University, Dec.21, 2011: China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP) held a signing ceremony of agreement on PhD Joint Training Program with Peking University (PKU) on December 14th in Mianyang, Sichuan. PKU Vice President Wang Enge and CAEP President Zhao Xiangeng signed the agreement.

The two sides held a pleasant meeting before the signing ceremony. Professor Zhao welcomed PKU delegation. Zhao stressed that CAEP had good cooperation foundation with PKU. During the last decade, PKU has cultivated a large number of excellent talents for CAEP, and he hoped that both sides could take their own advantages and responsibilities for furthercooperation. Zhang Weiyan, CAEP Vice President, introduced brief highlights, research projects and talent training of CAEP.

PKU Vice President Wang Enge said that CAEP was famous and prestigious for its advanced science and technology research. What was more important was that CAEP had always respected the long held beliefs and traditions of national spirit, while making significant contributions to the country. He emphasized that PKU would continue to maintain good partnership and explore new cooperation fields with CAEP.
