During the conference, all conferees analyzed the development of Chinese medical professionalism from different perspectives. Over the last decade, the center has built a platform for systematic research on the current situation of Chinese medical professionalism and comparative research with the situation in the United States and other countries. Cong Yali believed that the achievements of the conference cannot be separated from the support of all parties, and expressed sincere thanks to the government departments, school leaders and domestic and foreign experts for their full support. David Rothman said in his summary that although medical professionalism was introduced into China from the United States, through around ten years of development, China's experience is now helping American scholars understand the concept better, and the cooperation has promoted the common progress on both sides. At the end of the meeting, Zhang Zongjiu stressed the importance of exchanges between China and foreign countries. He also hoped that the center would continue to promote the practice of medical professionalism in China with an open spirit.
